CHANGE ROUTE #013 - System B - A move to the new economy

But the Global Movement of B Corps was created in 2006 in the United States, arriving in Brazil 8 years ago. This global community of leaders does its business to build a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for people and the planet. Companies go through a rigorous process of impact measurement, evaluation and certification so that they meet the criteria. In addition, advocacy work is carried out to modify the legal structures to strengthen companies that wish to do their business in a differentiated way. Today we talked to Marcel Fukayama, executive director of Sistema B, to explain what Sistema B is, how it was created and how it works.

ROUTE CHANGE #012 - Making ESG Investments Uncomplicated
Investments with ESG concerns seem to be gaining more and more demand. But after all, what makes a good company with ESG practices stand out? Today we spoke with Jonathan Mazon, a lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in the capital markets, to answer the questions of those who seek to understand a little more about the challenges of ESG investments. This acronym is an abbreviation for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). CHANGE OF ROUTE #011 - Finapop (MST) - When the worker invests in family farming
Also in 2020, the Landless Workers Movement, the MST, announced the first fundraising for family farming cooperatives through the financial market. It was an offer restricted to a few investors, among them Eduardo Moreira, one of the articulators of the initiative and its main promoter. It was Finapop's first step. In 2021, Finapop announced that this time, the offer would be public, and anyone could invest in family farming from a minimum amount of 100 reais. The funding ended in September 2021 and managed to raise 17 million reais in credit for cooperatives. To better understand how this process was, I speak today with Luis Costa, coordinator of Finapop, who will present us with the MST's motivations for carrying out this fundraising, what were the challenges faced and what are Finapop's plans to enable workers to invest in healthy food production.

ROUTE CHANGE #004 - Do crypto assets point to a new economic model?
For Alan Kardec, the answer to that question is yes. Master in administration and controllership with a focus on research in blockchain technology and a member of the INOS (innovation and sustainability) research group at the Federal University of Ceará, Alan Kardec has extensive professional and academic experience in the area and shows us how cryptoactives can be an ally in building a new economy.
